ABOUT US
Who can despise the day of small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10)?
Operation Agape was birthed as a prayer movement on the 25th of December 1988 at the Christian Medical College of Ludhiana. From this initial prayer movement grew a saturation evangelism initiative with the aim to reach the least reached. As the movement matured, Romans 15:20 became an inspiration to us. All our projects are based on 'PEACE' strategy.
Proclaiming Biblical truths.
Equipping and training quality leaders with character and competence.
Assisting the poor - Children's Home.
Caring the sick - Medical Camps.
Educating the next generation through formal and non-formal schools
Operation Agape is a network of missions who, through strategic partnerships, aim to help finish the task of the Great Commission. Beginning in 1991 we began expanding our ministry through partnerships in other states in North India. Today, nearly 50 Operation Agape partner organizations serve together, all sharing the aim of reaching least reached areas in 15 states of North India and in the adjoining countries of Nepal and Bhutan.
Our activities include providing holistic training for development of leadership qualities and serving the community in various ways. Our ministry is rooted in the Great Commission statement (Matthew 28:19-20). We have no income generating programs and we subsist on donations. Our social activities are focused on the overall development of society, especially for those belonging to the economically weaker sections. We provide free primary and non formal education to children who otherwise do not attend schools, payment of scholarships and other educational assistance, conducting of vocational training, giving marriage assistance, free medical treatment etc.
